DWAS offers live, 100% online acting classes for Film & TV with a structure designed for real growth, not random drop-ins. Classes run monthly with three weeks of on-camera scene study and rehearsal, followed by a live showcase where actors perform for invited industry guests such as agents, managers, casting directors, and directors.

This is where training meets opportunity. When you show up consistently, your work improves fast and you start building the relationships that move careers forward.

Best for: actors who want ongoing training, accountability, and industry-facing opportunities.

Need professional materials? David shoots actor headshots in his NYC studio and also offers virtual headshots for beginners who can’t travel yet.

For virtual sessions, David coaches you through lighting, framing, wardrobe, and posing in real time, then selects and edits your best shots so you end up with headshots that look polished and casting-ready (even if you’re starting with just a newer smartphone).

Want a one-day intensive? DWAS hosts acting workshops and masterclasses with working casting directors, directors, and industry professionals, focused on practical skills like audition technique, self-tapes, on-camera scene work, and professional readiness.
Workshops are intimate by design so you get real feedback, not lost in a crowd.

Past guests include: Bill Duke (director of Predator), Paul Weber (CD for Skyfall, Outlander), Paul Sinacore (CD for Netflix's hit Unknown Number), Candice Cain (Director for Hallmark) and agents from LA/NYC/ATL.

If you don’t have credits yet, we can help you build them. David offers demo reel scene filming in his NYC studio—giving you a scene to prepare, coaching your performance, and filming in a professional setting so you walk away with footage you can actually submit.

This is ideal for actors who need materials that match the level they’re aiming for.

Audition tomorrow? Callback you cannot mess up? Want to stop second guessing? Private coaching is for the moments where your career is on the line.

David works with you personally to strengthen choices, raise stakes, clarify intention, and deliver a performance that reads cleanly on camera. Whether it’s a self-tape, callback, or a scene you need to elevate quickly, David is your professional second set of eyes.

If you’ve ever wondered, “Is this actually good?”, this is where you get an honest answer and a clear plan.

One of the biggest perks of DWAS is the community and the connections you build along the way. In showcases and workshops, industry guests often invite actors to stay in touch—so you can build relationships over time, not just collect a random “nice meeting you.”

Students also collaborate with each other outside class: self-tape partners, scene partners, and even casting fellow actors in independent productions.

Bottom line: you’re not doing this alone here. You've joined a community.
