David Wenzel is an award-winning actor, director, and producer who’s spent his 30+ year career working across Film, Television, and Off-Broadway theatre.

 

His on-camera credits include projects such as A Complete Unknown with Timothée Chalamet, On The Rocks with Bill Murray, The Irishman with Robert De Niro, and multiple daytime serials (One Life to Live, All My Children, Guiding Light, Another World), along with many true-crime series appearances. David was also Brad Pitt's Stand-In for a decade.

As a filmmaker, he’s produced and directed award-winning projects including Hamlet/Horatio, Echelon 8, Preying for Mercy, and The Hostage!

As a coach, David is known for creating a high-standard room that still feels human with serious training, clear direction, and a real sense of community. His teaching is grounded in one core idea: stop forcing the performance. David uses techniques from Stella Adler, Stanislavski's System, Method Acting, Meisner, Chekhov, and Classical acting.
