Train with award-winning actor and coach David Wenzel in a live, online acting studio focused on on-camera craft, professional readiness, and real industry access. DWAS supports actors anywhere who want a career path (not a hobby) through monthly training, workshops, showcases, and private coaching.
In 2026, DWAS also began producing original projects with our network. We are creating opportunities for actors to gain on-set experience, screen credits, and real footage while building relationships with entertainments top professionals.
On-Camera Scene Study
Our online acting classes offer beginner and advanced levels. Our scene study focuses on Film & TV, so you’re training the way you’ll actually work.
Beginners learn core techniques, truthful behavior, and how to take direction without getting in their head. Advanced actors sharpen specificity, deepen choices, and practice delivering consistent work under pressure.
Exposure to Agents, Managers & Casting
Our online acting classes includes showcase opportunities where prepared actors can perform in front of industry guests like top agents, managers, and casting professionals from LA, NYC, and Atlanta. It’s all about putting strong work in the right rooms to give you exposure. You’ll learn how to present yourself professionally, deliver under pressure, and create moments that can lead to real relationships and career momentum.
Industry Workshops
DWAS hosts online acting workshops with LA NYC ATL casting directors, directors, and top working industry professionals to train the skills that matter right now: audition technique, self-tapes, scene work, and professional communication. These workshops are designed to push your craft, expose you to different professionals and perspectives, and help you build real-world readiness for Film & TV opportunities.
Audition & Career Prep
Need help with a self-tape, callback, or career strategy? Private sessions give you direct, specific coaching on auditions, scene work, and the next steps to move your acting career forward. David will work on choices, pacing, stakes, and clarity, plus practical guidance on materials, submissions, and how to show up like a working actor (even if you’re outside LA/NYC).
About David
David Wenzel is an award-winning actor, director, and producer who’s spent his 30+ year career working across Film, Television, and Off-Broadway theatre.
His on-camera credits include projects such as A Complete Unknown with Timothée Chalamet, On The Rocks with Bill Murray, The Irishman with Robert De Niro, and multiple daytime serials (One Life to Live, All My Children, Guiding Light, Another World), along with many true-crime series appearances.
As a filmmaker, he’s produced and directed award-winning projects including Hamlet/Horatio, Echelon 8, Preying for Mercy, and The Hostage!
As a coach, David is known for creating a high-standard room that still feels human with serious training, clear direction, and a real sense of community. His teaching is grounded in one core idea: stop forcing the performance. David uses techniques from Stella Adler, Stanislavski's System, Method Acting, Meisner, Chekhov, and Classical acting.
